Vesper

Staking ​

VSPR holders can stake their tokens through the VESPER staking system. Staked VSPR is represented by sVSPR.

sVSPR ​

sVSPR is the rebasing representation of staked VSPR. Balances can adjust through the protocol's rebase mechanism.

Protocol Cycles ​

The initial architecture uses approximately 8-hour cycles, creating three protocol cycles per day.

New York time. The thin band under the cycles is the regular session, its bright end is last light. On the contracts a cycle is exactly 8 hours from the first close, so around a daylight-saving change the boundaries move by one hour.

Rebase ​

At the end of an eligible cycle, the staking system can execute a rebase according to protocol parameters.

Warm-Up ​

The architecture can support an optional warm-up period before newly staked positions become fully active. Final parameters are determined by deployed contracts.

Everything settles at the close.
